OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian University Women's Soccer Evangels have added Jennifer Starwalt to the program for the 2017 season.

Starwalt comes to MACU after prepping at Southmoore High School, where she was named team MVP and earned all-state honors as a goalkeeper while helping the Sabercats advance to the state playoffs four consecutive years.

She also performed well in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0 grade-point-average.

"Jennifer is a hardworking, competitive keeper with a huge upside," MACU Women's Soccer Co-Head Coach Zach Bice said.

"We are looking forward to the impact she will have on our team and program."

She is the daughter of Joe and Amanda Starwalt and plans to major in Business at MACU.

Starwalt, a 5'7 native of Moore, Okla., is joining a program that was 7-9-1 last season after winning consecutive NCCAA Central Regional championships in 2014 & 2015.
