MACU Baseball Field
A symmetrical ballpark, the MACU Baseball Field features a natural grass surface, including grass baselines from the batter's circle to first and third bases. The field faces southwest (home plate to center field), and plays like two very different ballparks depending on the wind direction. The cozy dimensions - 325 down the lines, 350 to the alleys, and 375 to straightaway center - play much deeper when the wind in blowing in - which it does many times. Still, the park must be considered a hitters' park thanks to the short distances and the relative lack of foul territory.
The dugouts are above ground and of cinder block construction, the backstop is full netting, and the press box is two levels, with the game operations on the top floor with storage underneath. The press box features limited capacity, but it does have hard line internet for the Evangels' live video and stat broadcasts of each home game.
In spring of 2022, newly renovated home and away dugouts and bullpens were completed with turf flooring, new benches and storage units for helmets and bats.
