Shawnee, Okla. -- Melissa Aguilar came in 18th overall in the women's Sooner Athletic Cross Country championships as the Mid-America Christian men's and women's cross country teams each finished 10th Saturday in Shawnee, Okla.
Wayland Baptist took home the conference title in both the men's and women's events, with Milca Villegas producing the best overall women's time at 19:00.00 in the 5k Run and Kennedy Kithuka posting the top men's time of 22:45.00 in the 8k Run.
Aguilar recorded a time of 20:26.00 in the women's 5k Run.
Abraham Busienei was the highest finishing Evangel on the men's side with a time of 28:09.00 in the men's 8k run, good for 48th overall.
