Forward Jeremiah Huff (Tuttle, OK) has been selected as the Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced today by the league office.
Playing in his first two games of the season, Huff got going with a bang by scoring two goals and delivering one assist to lead the Mid-America Christian Evangels to their first win of the season, a 3-0 victory at Bacone College on Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 14).
Huff then found the net again in a 3-1 win over Southwestern (Kan.) College Saturday afternoon (Sept. 18).
Despite playing in only two games this season, Huff already has a team-high three goals for the Evangels (2-2-2).
Huff and the Evangels will look for their third straight victory when they host McPherson (Kan.) on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 25) at 2 p.m.
