OKLAHOMA CITY -- Senior defender
Andrew Webster scored two goals to help the Mid-America University Evangels rally from two goals down to hand the Wayland Baptist University Pioneers their first conference loss of the season, 3-2 in overtime Thursday afternoon (Oct. 18) at MACU Soccer Field. The Pioneers were the No. 27-ranked squad in the NAIA coming into the match, receiving 71 votes to narrowly miss out on appearing in the top 25 poll.
Kevin Cabello started the rally with a goal off a keeper deflection in the 64th minute of the second half.
Webster then tied the game seven minutes later off a nice feed from

Then with just 33 seconds left in the first extra session, Webster gave the Evangels (8-4-1, 2-2-1 SAC) the win by scoring off of a post deflection.
In the opening half, Vitalis Atemafac had given the Pioneers (10-3-1, 3-1-1 SAC) the lead by scoring off a set piece at the 27:19 mark.
Atemafac then assisted on the Pioneers' second goal by feeding Jevaughn Vance with a cross to the middle in the 37th minute.
The shot count reflected how close the match was throughout, with the Evangels narrowly out-shooting the Pioneers 18-17 overall and 11-10 on-goal.
Raphael Bonnelle led the Evangels with seven shots and six shots-on-goal, while Javier Parry had a team-high four shots and two shots-on-goal.
