Andrew Webster, Raphael Bonelle earn All-SAC Honors

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mid-America Christian University Men's Soccer senior Andrew Webster and freshman Raphael Bonelle have earned a spot on the All-Sooner Athletic Conference squad, the league announced today (Nov. 12).

This marks the fourth straight year that Webster has nabbed All-Conference honors.  He has been a consistent anchor of the Evangels' defensive efforts and is a big key in MACU winning its most matches this season (nine) since joining the NAIA.  This season, Webster even contributed offensively by tying for third on the team with three goals along with one assist.

Bonelle made an immediate impact in his first season with the program by scoring a team-high nine goals that included three game-winning scores. The nine goals are tied for the most by an Evangel since 2008 (Bryce Jantz).

The Evangels will next compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Central Regional Tournament as the No. 1 seed.  MACU will host the winner of Dallas Baptist University and McMurray University on Friday afternoon (Nov. 14) at 2:30 p.m. at MACU Soccer Field.
