OKLAHOMA CITY -- For the second time this season, sophomore midfielder Raphael Bonelle has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Bonelle continues to be a spark plug in the Evangels' 6-0 start, their best ever since joining the NAIA.

Bonelle scored a pair of goals to lead the Mid-America Christian University Evangels to a 3-2 victory at Southwestern Christian University this past Thursday (Sept. 20).

Overall, he currently leads the SAC in points per game (2.50) and goals per game (1.17).  He leads the Evangels with seven goals on the season, which already ties for the most goals for MACU since 2010.

Bonelle and the Evangels will look to stay perfect with a pair of matches in the Sunflower state of  Kansas, beginning at Baker University on Friday afternoon (Sept. 29) at 5:30 p.m. in Shawnee Mission, Kan.
