Bonelle and Cabello Notch NCCAA All-America Honor

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has released their 2013-14 Men's Soccer All-American team and Mid-America Christian University junior midfielder Raphael Bonelle and sophomore defender Kevin Cabello have each received second-team honors.

Earlier in the week, the duo was named to the NCCAA All-Central Regional squad, with Bonelle being named the Regional Player of the Year.

Bonelle broke his own school single-season record for goals with 15 and also dished out a team-high eight assists this season. Five of Bonelle's goals were game-winning scores.  He also tied for first in the Sooner Athletic Conference in goals per game (0.89) and tied for second in the Sooner Athletic Conference in points per game (2.1).

Cabello scored three goals with two assists this year while helping anchor a defense that posted four shutouts on the season, including a 0-0 draw at NCAA D-I Oral Roberts University.

Bonelle and Cabello's efforts helped the Evangels capture their third NCCAA Central Regional title and advance to the NCCAA National Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla.
