Wichita, Kan. -- The Mid-America Christian University Evangels got a balanced scoring attack and Tyler McIntosh posted his third consecutive shutout in a 3-0 victory over the Friends University Falcons Wednesday night (Sept. 18) in Wichita, Kan. MACU is coming off an impressive 0-0 draw at Oral Roberts University Monday night (Sept. 16).

Marcelo Lima got the Evangels on the board at the 20:08 mark before Peterson Neri put the Evangels up 2-0 with 9:30 left in the opening half.

Paul Copeland then wasted little time in putting the Evangels in complete control with a goal just three minutes into the second half.

That's all McIntosh would need for another shutout, who recorded four saves on the night.

The Evangels (3-1-1) out-shot the Falcons (3-5) 13-9 overall and 10-6 on-goal.

MACU will next be in action next Tuesday night (Sept. 24) at Bethel (Kan.) at 7:30 p.m. in Bethel, Kan.
