Ft. Worth, Texas -- The Texas Wesleyan University Rams scored a goal in the second half to snap a 0-0 gridlock and slip by the Mid-America Christian University Evangels 1-0 in Sooner Athletic Conference action tonight (Oct. 14) in Ft. Worth, Texas. 

It was Brandon Head that broke through for the Rams by scoring off a rebound at the 59:48 mark. 

That's all the Rams would need, as the Evangels could muster only seven shots overall and one shot-on-goal. 

Goalkeeper Tyler McIntosh gave the Evangels (5-7, 1-3 SAC) a chance to win by making nine saves in the net tonight. 

Arturo Sanchez stopped the only shot-on-goal he faced for the Rams (4-5-2, 2-2 SAC).  

The Evangels are next scheduled to host Southwestern Christian University Friday afternoon (Oct. 17) at 3 p.m. at MACU Soccer Field.
