OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian University Men's Soccer Evangels have added Christian Salas for the 2017 season.

Salas arrives at MACU from Rose State College, where he was a two-year captain and an all-region performer.

The Wylie, Texas native was also selected as a captain for the Wylie HS Pirates.

Salas earned both first-team and second-team all-district honors competing for the Pirates.

"Christian is a great player transferring to us from Rose State," MACU Men's Soccer Co-Head Coach Evan Dresel said.

"His technical ability along with his experience will add some much needed stability to our center midfield group. We look forward to his contributions to the team next season."

He is the son of Geneva and Eddie Salas and plans to major in Education at MACU.
