    • Charlie Betts put together a breakout game for the Evangels in the victory, notching his first career brace with MACU and also notched his first five-point by finishing the match with two goals as well as an assist on Jack Price's game-winner.
    • By netting the winning goal, Price continued his ascent up MACU's NAIA Era record books, as his fifth game-winner moved him into a tie for the third-most in a season and his ninth career winner moved him into a tie for second all-time with Dominik Tajak. Price also became just the fourth player in the NAIA Era to eclipse 25 career goals, joining Rodrigo Albuquerque (61, 2019-22), Raphael Bonelle (37, 2012-15) and Dominik Tajak (27, 2017-19).
    • The victory over the Aggies has put MACU in the driver's seat to potentially win its third-straight SAC regular season title. Heading into the regular season finale, the Evangels currently lead the conference by four points with 22 (7-0-1), ahead of John Brown (6-1) as the Golden Eagles wrap-up their season with a pair of road matches at SAGU and Texas Wesleyan. MACU will win the regular season title with a victory over the Stars, but can also seal it if the Golden Eagles get a draw in either of their last two matches.
