  • Team Notes:
    • Mid-America Christian was in-trouble in its game at Science & Arts on Tuesday night as the Evangels found themselves down by a pair of goals at the halftime break. However, the resilient Evangels found a way to battle back as MACU netted a pair of goals in the second half to force a 2-2 draw.
    • Sophomore forward Federico Palacios continued his goal-scoring streak as his opening score in the second half marked the fourth consecutive game that he found the back of the net. It was due in-large part to Pietro Musso's incredible hustle to run down an errant Drovers header in the 53rd minute.
    • MACU netted the equalizer in the 75th minute when a foul committed by the Drovers keeper set up Enzo Nogue, who continued to add to his impressive penalty kick tally. The senior forward so far this season is 4-for-4 on penalty kick scores.
    • The Evangels will be hopeful that history can keep repeating itself as the result marked the third-straight year that MACU and USAO played to a draw during the regular season. However, MACU has squared off against the Drovers in the last two Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament Championships, which resulted in a 3-0 victory on Nov. 11, 2022 and 3-1 win over the Drovers on Nov. 9, 2023.

    • Timothy Foster – JR – GK
      • 4-2-1 W-L, 1.38 GAA, 36 Saves, .766 SV%, 1 SHO
  • Team Notes:
    • Central Christian struggled to get things going in the attack against Wayland Baptist on Tuesday as the Tigers were out-shot 17-9 with a 7-2 deficit in shots on-goal. However, CCCK was able to at least able to salvage a point on Mattia Cola's 21st minute goal to force a 1-1 draw.
    • The Tigers have been one of the more offensively challenged teams in the conference this season as CCCK ranks in a tie for seventh with the Pioneers in goal scoring at 1.90 goals per game. However, the Tigers are still fundamentally sound defensively under first-year head coach Cody Bartlow, allowing 1.30 goals allowed average, but it is a goal rate that still ranks eighth in the conference.
    • A bulk load of CCCK's scoring has run through its two forwards Marco Cherchi and Johnny Rodriguez, who have combined to score nine of CCCK's 19 goals this season. Junior goalkeeper Timothy Foster has spent most of the time in-goal for the Tigers as he's posted a 1.38 GAA rate with a .766 save percentage clip.
    • Ever since falling in the first ever meeting to Central Christian on Aug. 25, 2006, Mid-America Christian has dominated the all-time series by going 10-0-1 since. Facing off against his former squad, head coach Aaron Hoxie has had his previous Tigers team play competitively though against MACU as last year's result was a 2-1 affair in McPherson on Sept. 26.
