KANSAS CITY – After winning the program's fourth consecutive Sooner Athletic Conference regular season title, the No. 9 MACU Men's Soccer team will once again host the NAIA Tournament 1st and 2nd Round.
The Evangels will be competing in a double-bye pod as Mid-America Christian will face off against LSU Shreveport in the 2nd Round contest at the Dill Soccer Field at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Mid-America Christian enters NAIA Tournament play with a 14-2-4 overall record and went 7-0-2 in SAC play.
The Evangels are playing host to the NAIA Tournament First and Second Round of the third-straight year. When MACU hosted at the Dill Soccer Field in 2022, the Evangels won a 2-1 overtime thriller against Bellevue before defeating No. 17 Oklahoma Wesleyan 2-0 in the Second Round to advance to the final site.
The Evangels will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing result in the 2023 tournament. After playing Bellevue once again to a 3-3 draw, the Evangels suffered a 7-6 heartbreaker in the PK shootout as the Bruins advanced to the final site.
