Javier Ceballos is entering into his first year as the MACU Men's Soccer program's goalkeepers coach for the 2024 season.
Ceballos is no stranger to MACU as the team served as a goalkeeper for the program during the 2021-23 seasons. In his three-year Evangels career, Ceballos appeared in four games, three of which coming during MACU's highly successful 2023 season where the Evangels finished the year with a 17-0-4 overall record, were ranked No. 1 in the NAIA for most of the season and captured the program's fourth consecutive SAC Tournament title with a 3-1 victory over Science & Arts at the Dill Soccer Field on Nov. 9 as well as the program's third-straight SAC Championship after going 8-0-1 in league play.
Ceballos' best start as an Evangel came in a 3-0 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Oct. 23, 2023 when he earned a combined shutout after tallying three saves in 82 minutes of action while also tallying a trio of saves in a 2-1 win at Central Christian on Sept. 26, 2023.
On-top of competing for the MACU men's soccer program, Ceballos has also served as a goalkeeping private instructor in the Oklahoma City area since 2023.
A former standout student-athlete, Ceballos is currently pursuing his Bachelor's in Data Analytics from Mid-America Christian.
