Josh Macklin is entering into his first season as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the 2026 campaign after competing for the MACU Men's Soccer team over the last two years, including serving as one of the Team Captains during the 2025 season.
Over the course of his two-year MACU career, Macklin saw action in 42 games and made 33 starts, scoring three goals and dishing out five assists for 11 points. Macklin also notched a pair of game-winners with his first coming against Nelson as he netted the goal in the 29th minute of a 1-0 result in the Sooner Athletic Conference Quarterfinal on Nov. 6, 2024.
Before joining the Evangels, Macklin competed for Lewis & Clark Community College (Ill.), where he scored 12 goals, including five game-winners, while competing in 30 games and making 26 starts. He helped lead the Trailblazers to a Mid-West Conference Championship and a Region 24 Championship in his tenure.
