Mariah Hubble

Mariah Hubble is entering her fourth year as MACU's Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2025-26 athletic year.

In her first year as MACU's Assistant Athletic Trainer, Hubble provided services for MACU's seven varsity sports and three reserve sports while also serving training duties for multiple championship events, including the SAC Men's Soccer Championship, the NAIA Men's Soccer Opening Round and the SAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.

In her second year, Hubble was once again an instrumental piece of MACU's athletic training staff as the Evangels expanded cross country and esports to its athletics offerings.

The Evangels continued to expand during the 2024-25 athletic year as Hubble provided services to the men's track & field team in their first ever season. 

Hubble has had the opportunity to cover multiple Championship events during the the last year as the Evangels combined competed in 10 national championships (five NAIA and five NCCAA) as well as nine SAC Championships.

A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Hubble earned her Master's of Science degree in Athletic Training in May, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 cumulative grade-point average.

In her field, Hubble has amassed more than 1500 hours of clinical work and also served as a member and fundraising chair for the Athletic Training Student Association at UCO. Hubble performed her clinical duties with SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital from January to May 2022, where she observed patient-physician visits, evaluated X-Ray and MRI images.

Hubble also served as a volunteer for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, where helped operate the medical tent by providing emergency care, first aid and manual therapy to the runners as well as assisted other health care professionals.

Working with the Bronchos from Aug. 2021 to May 2022, Hubble performed her duties under a certified athletic training preceptor, caring for UCO student-athletes by evaluating, treating and rehabilitating injuries. Hubble worked with multiple sports at UCO, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, wrestling, tennis, track & field and rowing as well was traveled for out-of-state football games.

In June 2021, Hubble was a volunteer for the medical tent at the Oklahoma Endeavor Games in Edmond, assisting athletes with physical disabilities by providing emergency care, first aid and hydration for the athletes as well as helped developed an emergency action plan for the event.

From January to December 2021, Hubble garnered valuable experience providing duties for the McBride Orthopedic Hospital Clinic, observing physical therapy sessions under a certified physical therapist in an orthopedic clinic, interacting with the patients receiving rehabilitation and treatment interventions as well as assisting the physical therapists with modalities and exercises.

Hubble also gained some experience at the high school level from August 2020 to May 2021 with Bishop-McGuinness High School in Oklahoma City. Under a certified athletic training preceptor, Hubble provided athletic training coverage for all home games and practices for eight sports as well as traveled for away football games.

Hubble was an undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Health Exercise Science in May of 2020.

While with the Sooners, Hubble gained her first collegiate athletics work experience as a Student Equipment Manager for OU's football, soccer and wrestling programs from June 2017 through May 2020. Her duties included preparation of facilities for use, attended daily practice sessions for field setup, filming and laundry as well as ordered fitted and organized athletic equipment. Hubble was promoted to the Head Student Equipment Manager in 2019.

Overall, Hubble has received multiple certifications, including passing her athletic training BOC Certification Exam in March as well as also holding an American Heart Association CPR/AED Professional Rescuer Certification and an Oklahoma Apprentice Athletic Trainer license.
