    • After Mid-America Christian (2-0) held Baptist Bible (0-2) scoreless until a Kaitlyn King field goal at the 7:45 mark, the Evangels blew the game wide open by stringing together a 21-0 run over the next five minutes, capped off on a McKenzi Lamer fastbreak layup with 3:01 remaining to bring the score to 27-2.

  • 2nd Quarter
    • The Patriots were able to play close to even with MACU through the first 5:10 of the second quarter as the Evangels held just a 7-6 edge, but an Emmy Colin three off the bench ignited a string of seven straight to push the lead out to 52-10 with 2:39 remaining.
    • Mid-America Christian took a 45-point advantage into the halftime break when Aaliyah Endsley was able to knock down a pair of free throws with 22 seconds left, came up with a steal on the ensuing possession and Hernandez drained another three with 10 seconds left to set the score to 59-14.
  • 3rd Quarter

GAME NOTES
  • Hannah Moeller won her 200th career game as a collegiate head coach. Moeller went 105-28 in four seasons with Hillsdale College (now known as Randall University) from 2012-16. In her fifth season with the Evangels, Moeller currently holds a 95-44 record.
  • Defensively, the Evangels forced an NAIA era record 41 turnovers, eclipsing the previous best of 37 set in an 88-75 win against Northwestern Oklahoma State back on Jan. 14, 2010.
  • The 85-point scoring margin was MACU's second-largest during the NAIA era, sitting only behind last season's 130-39 (91 points) victory over Manhattan Christian on Oct. 25, 2019.
  • The Evangels also allowed the third-fewest points in the NAIA era with just the 17 conceded to Dallas Christian on Nov. 14, 2011 and 21 allowed to Manhattan Christian (Kan.) on Oct. 26, 2018.
  • Lexi Hernandez set the program's NAIA era single game steals record with 10 thefts, eclipsing the previous best of seven recorded by seven different Evangels players, the last being Shaylan Coleman in the NCCAA National Championship against Brewton-Parker on Mar. 16, 2019. Hernandez finished just a couple assists shy of a triple-double, notching 16 points and eight assists to go with six boards.
  • Mid-America Christian as a team shot 43-for-81 (53.1 percent) from the floor, 15-for-32 (46.9 percent) from three-point range and knocked down 15-for-19 (78.9 percent) from the charity stripe while defensively limiting Baptist Bible to only 10-for-52 (19.2 percent) shooting and 0-for-12 behind the arc.

  • McKenzi Lamer finished with a career-high 31 points while going 7-for-12 from the three-point arc, tying the program's fourth-most triples made in a single game during the NAIA era.
  • Mid-America Christian faced Baptist Bible for the first time since 2007, winning their ninth straight against the Patriots since the 2003-04 season.
