  • The Evangels added to it in the 26th minute when Paola Camacho was able to field a cleared ball near midfield before dishing it to Marga Franco, who passed it back to Camacho breaking down the middle. Camacho launched a long 35-yard shot that bounced off the bottom of the crossbar and broke the plane of the goal to extend the MACU advantage to 2-0.
  • The MACU defense didn't allow the Drovers to take a single shot on-goal through the entire half as the Evangels took a comfortable 2-0 lead into the half.
  • USAO had a couple of opportunities to try and get back in the second half, but MACU starting goalkeeper Jennifer Starwalt came up with a pair of big saves in the 56th and 77th minutes to maintain the shutout.
