OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian volleyball team will continue its challenge against quality Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) competition on Friday as the Evangels will head to Bartlesville, Okla. to take on Oklahoma Wesleyan before opening Sooner Athletic Conference play against Science & Arts on Monday.

The Evangels will face the Eagles at 6 p.m. on Friday while the Evangels will host the Drovers for a 7 p.m. match on Monday.

  • Went 1-3 at the KCAC Fall Fling on Aug. 20-21, which included playing three straight matches to five sets, a feat that had never happened before since the program joined the NAIA in 2017.
  • Senior outside hitter Hanna Foecker is closing in on yet another career milestone. She is just 25 kills away from becoming the first Evangels player to record 1000 kills at Mid-America Christian since 2007.
  • In the 3-2 loss to Kansas Wesleyan on Aug. 20, sophomore setter Lena Stockhammer recorded the third-most assists in a single match in the NAIA era with 52 while Foecker finished with 26 kills, the fourth-most kills in a match in the same time frame.
