OKLAHOMA CITY – After picking up a 3-0 victory over Science & Arts in its Sooner Athletic Conference and home opener on Monday, the Mid-America Christian volleyball team will be seeking a big time upset against John Brown on Wednesday night. The match will be slated for a 7 p.m. first serve at the Gaulke Activity Center.

• Team Notes:
  • Mid-America Christian improved to 13-0 all-time against Science & Arts with a three-set sweep against the Drovers on Monday. It was the 11^th time the Evangels have swept the Drovers in straight sets since the series began in 2016.
  • Senior outside hitter Hanna Foecker recorded her 1000^th career kill at MACU during the third set. The Borken, Germany native finished the match with 17 kills on a .419 attack percentage.
  • Sophomore setter Lena Stockhammer found herself in the MACU record books in the match, as the 38 assists she turned in was the third-most in a three-set match by a MACU setter since the program joined the NAIA in 2007. The Klagenfurt, Austria product finished just an assist shy from tying Calle Solie's 2010 and 2012 records.
  • Before the contest began, sophomore middle blocker Allison Porter was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Defender of the Week after finishing with a career-high eight blocks in MACU's 3-0 victory at Oklahoma Wesleyan on Friday.
