    • Mid-America Christian put up a tough fight against No. 24 John Brown on Tuesday, taking an early lead on Kealy Juarez's team-leading third goal in the 13th minute, however the Evangels were unable to contain the Golden Eagles offensive attack in the second half as they rallied for a 3-1 win over the Evangels.
    • Despite suffering the loss, the Evangels got a stellar performance from junior goalkeeper Makayla Farquharson, who tallied a career-high 11 saves on a .786 save percentage.
    • MACU has put together a balanced offensive effort going into its final three games of Sooner Athletic Conference play with four different players tallying seven points.
    • The matchup with Oklahoma City will be a crucial one as MACU currently sits a game-back of Oklahoma City for third place in the SAC standings. If the Evangels can get the win, they'd move into a tie for third with OCU and hold the tiebreaker for the No. 3 seed in the SAC Tournament.
    • Before the start of the match, Mid-America Christian will hold a ceremony to honor its six graduating senior: Gipsy Gonzalez, Bruna Faleiro, Joan Nakirya, Daniela Paez, Kanasa Spybuck and Kadin Stinson.

    • The Stars offense is led by senior midfielder Madi Caputo, who leads the SAC in assists with 13 while also netting six goals for the fourth-most points in the league at 25. Senior forward Sofia Carvajal Granados is the team's top striker with the fifth-best goal scoring mark in the SAC at eight.
    • Oklahoma City is a high-powered offense, ranking in a tie for second in the league in goal-scoring at 3.08 goals per game.
    • Even though Oklahoma City still leads in the all-time meetings between the Evangels and Stars, MACU has dominated the series in the last three seasons by boasting a 4-0 record against OCU in the last four meetings. In last season's meeting at OCU, Kelsey Henry netted a pair of goals while Abigail McCain chipped in a goal to propel the Evangels to a 3-0 victory at Brian Harvey Field on Sept. 28, 2021.
