OKLAHOMA CITY – After picking up its first Sooner Athletic Conference win on Saturday, the Mid-America Christian women's soccer team will be seeking its first win streak of the season on Tuesday as the Evangels head to Waxahachie, Texas for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff against Southwestern Assemblies of God.

- After struggling to find scoring for most of the early season, the Mid-America Christian women's soccer team was firing on all cylinders against Central Christian on Saturday. The Evangels scored a season-high five goals and attempted a season-best 38 shots and 16 shots on-goal.
- Jasmine Morales and Kealy Juarez became the first Evangels on the season to score three or more points in a match this season after each player tallied a goal and an assist in the victory.
- MACU defensively frustrated the Tigers, limiting Central Christian to a season-low two shots.
- As a result of MACU pitching back-to-back shutouts last week, freshman defender Cammy Hargrove was named the Evangels' first Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Hargrove also scored her first career goal on a penalty kick in the 56th minute against the Tigers.

- Southwestern Assemblies of God is currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak, coming off a 1-0 loss at home to Oklahoma City on Saturday.
- Due to utilizing one of the team's top offensive players at goalkeeper in Rylee Thatcher, SAGU has struggled offensively, netting just 10 goals on a 1.11 goals per game average this season. Sophomore forward Alexis Roman has led the Lions attack with three of the squad's goals this season.
- After missing a six-game stretch due to injury, the Lions will have starting junior goalkeeper Zoe Boldt back in the lineup. In the three matches she has played this season, Boldt is conceding just 1.48 goals per game and is saving 82.6 percent of shots on-goal.
- Mid-America Christian is 15-2 against SAGU since the 2007 season and have won six straight in the series. In last season's meeting at the Dill Soccer Field on Oct. 30, 2021, the Evangels battled back from a 1-0 halftime deficit as Mia Willyerd netted the tying goal in the 58th minute before Jasmine Morales came up clutch with the golden goal in the 96th minute of overtime.
