OKLAHOMA CITY – After completing a banner year both on the court and in the classroom, the Mid-America Christian volleyball team finished with eight players named to the Sooner Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete list presented by Barnes & Noble College on Tuesday.

In order to earn SAC Scholar-Athlete accolades, a student-athlete must maintain no lower than a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average, be a junior or higher by academic standing, attended the nominating institution for at least two years as a non-transfer or one year as a transfer and appear on the program's NAIA eligibility certificate.

The Evangels notched the second-most SAC Scholar-Athletes amongst the league's 11 volleyball programs while Hanna Foecker was one of just three student-athletes in the conference to wrap-up the 2021-22 academic year with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
