OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian women's soccer team is preparing to face its second NCAA Division I opponent of the 2022 season as the Evangels will head to Tulsa, Okla. on Thursday to take on Oral Roberts. Kickoff is tabbed for 7 p.m. at the Case Soccer Complex.

  • Mid-America Christian gave a strong fight to Columbia on Monday, even battling the 16^th-ranked team in the country to a 0-all draw heading into the halftime break, but the Evangels conceded a goal in the 51^st minute before the Cougars scored an insurance goal in the final two minutes to seal the 2-nil final.
  • Junior goalkeeper Makayla Farquharson put together one of her best defensive performances of the season in the match, tallying nine saves on an .818 save percentage for the match.
  • The Evangels have faced a challenging non-conference schedule to start off the year as all five of MACU's losses have come to teams with a winning record through the first month of the season.
