OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian women's soccer team will be back at home over the Labor Day weekend as the Evangels take on Baker (Kan.) at 7 p.m. on Saturday before heading up to Brian Harvey Field at Oklahoma City University on Monday for a 1 p.m. match against the University of the Southwest (N.M.).

  • Last Match: Lost at Friends (Kan.) – 3-1 – Aug. 27, 2022 – Wichita, Kan.
  • Stat Leaders:
  • Team Notes:
    • Mid-America Christian is back at home after a tough road loss at Friends last Saturday.
    • In the defeat, the two teams battled to a scoreless draw heading into half, but the Falcons pushed across a pair of early second half goals to grab the 2-0 advantage.
    • In the 59th minute, the Evangels were able to cut into the deficit as Jasmine Morales fed a stellar through ball to the right side of the box for Kadin Stinson, who blasted it past the keeper to make it a 2-1 game.
    • After the Evangels went down a player following Cammy Hargrove being issued her second yellow card of the match with just over 10 minutes left, Friends scored an insurance goal with 4:27 remaining to seal the 3-1 final.
    • While it is the first time MACU has started the season with an 0-2 record since 2019, the Evangels will be looking to replicate the success of that 2019 squad. After that team started 0-2, MACU rattled off four straight wins and eventually finished the season with a 14-6-1 record and qualified for the NCCAA National Championships.
