BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – The Mid-America Christian volleyball team wrapped up a tough week with a heartbreaking five-set defeat to Sterling before falling in straight sets to Oklahoma Wesleyan in the OKWU Tri-Match on Saturday afternoon.

- Despite suffering the loss, Mid-America Christian recorded the third-most kills in a single match in the NAIA Era (2007-Present) with 68, while breaking the record for most attacks (230) and tallying the fifth-most digs in a single match (114).
- Attack errors proved costly for MACU in the match, as the Evangels finished with 29 hitting errors for a .170 hitting percentage while Sterling committed just 14 and hit for a .196 attack rate.
- Lena Stockhammer recorded her third career triple-double, tallying a team-high 13 kills to go with 19 digs and 16 assists while also notching four assisted blocks.
- Vanessa Moreira put together one of the best offensive matches of her career, slamming down 13 kills on her second-highest hitting percentage in her MACU career at .545.
- Casady McKinney led the passing efforts with a career-best 32 assists and completed her eighth double-double with 16 digs.
- Marlee Hunter led the back row defense with 28 digs to go with eight assists and four service aces while Sarah Jones led the blocking efforts with five assisted blocks.
- The Evangels fell to 1-3 in matches that went to five sets this season.

- Mid-America Christian struggled to slow down the red-hot Oklahoma Wesleyan attack as the Eagles tallied 47 kills on a .254 attack percentage, marking the second-highest hitting rate the Evangels had given up this season while MACU could only muster 28 kills on an .069 attack rate.
- While MACU was balanced in the attack, the Evangels struggled to find any openings as no one player hit higher than a .158 attack percentage for the match.
- Annabeth Fehrle finished with a team-high seven kills.
