McGarry-Doyle Cycles, Brown Shuts Out as Baseball Sweeps Series at Houston-Victoria

VICTORIA, Texas – Sophomore outfielder Noel McGarry-Doyle hit through the cycle in game one while junior pitcher Cameron Brown pitched a complete-game shutout in the second game as the MACU baseball team completed the four-game sweep with a pair of 16-8, 7-0 victories over Houston-Victoria at Riverside Park on Saturday afternoon.

PITCHING DECISION TOP PERFORMERS SCORING SUMMARY GAME NOTES
  • Mid-America Christian scored its 16 runs on 16 hits and committed a pair of errors while Houston-Victoria scored its eight runs on 11 hits with one error.
  • As a team, MACU batted for a .444 (16-of-36) average while the Jaguars finished with a .324 (11-of-34) clip.
