GAME NOTES

- The Evangels had a great chance to blow the game open in the bottom of the first when Conner McKinney hit an RBI single through the right side before Andrew Enwiya drew a walk to load the bases with no one out. However, the Warriors were able to limit MACU to just one run when BC starter Keegan Burgess sat down Carlos Medina and Cole Fuecker on back-to-back strikeouts.
- Leading off the bottom of the second, starting center fielder Caden Harris broke his hitless streak in a big way by slamming a no-doubt solo homer over the left field fence to make it a 2-0 game.
- After Makael Shaw reached on a walk and Ryan Reed reached on an infield single to go with each stealing a base, Yan Ely Adames plated two when he hit a sac fly to left to score Shaw before the catcher overthrew the third baseman trying to throw out Reed, allowing the starting second baseman to come across as well to make it a 4-0 game.
- The Evangels pushed two more across in the third when MACU loaded the bases behind a Harris double, a Shaw walk and Reed hit-by-pitch before Noel McGarry-Doyle smashed a line drive to center to plate Harris and Shaw, setting the score to 6-0.
- McGarry-Doyle added one more RBI to his stat line in the bottom of the fifth when he hit a slow chopper toward the right side and beat the defenders to the bag to allow Reed to score from third.
- The Warriors only run of the ballgame came in the top of the seventh when Jordan Andrews led off the frame with a single, reached second on a sac bunt, stole third and then scored on a Payton Redding RBI grounder to short.
- Caden Harris broke out of his early season slump in a huge way, slashing 3-for-4 with two doubles and a homer to go with an RBI and a pair of runs scored. Harris was 0-for-7 before his solo shot in the second inning.
- Ryan Reed continued to produce from the leadoff spot, reaching base three times by slashing 2-for-3 with a pair of runs and two stolen bases to go with a hit-by-pitch.
- McGarry-Doyle led MACU's scoring production with three RBIs off a pair of singles, batting 2-for-3 with a stolen base and hit-by-pitch.
