- The Evangels shot attempts in that win over the Tigers was not only the fourth-most attempts taken in a match during the NAIA Era (2007-present), but the 31 shots on-goal is also the third-most on-target tries in that same time frame.
- Despite the offensive outburst, the Evangels were at-least somewhat kept from running away from CCCK in the match due to the efforts of its goalkeeper Katelyn Beckman, who notched a Tigers program-record 25 saves in the match.
- MACU continued to show off its incredible offensive balance in the win as Francesca Martella and Allana Porto each scored their first goals of the season, making it 16 different Evangels players now that have netted MACU's 33 goals on the season.

- Team Notes:
- Science & Arts enters Saturday night's matchup on a two-game losing streak. The Drovers hosted No. 15 John Brown (Ark.) in its SAC opener on Tuesday night and in the matchup of the two league favorites, the Golden Eagles rallied back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to net four second half goals on USAO to hand the Drovers a 4-2 defeat on its home pitch.
- Offensively, the Drovers rank fifth in the SAC in scoring offense, averaging 2.56 goals per game, but defensively sit in seventh with a 2.44 goals allowed average.
- However, USAO features the top striker in the Sooner in Alicia Rey. The junior midfielder enters the weekend as the league's top scorer with 13 goals and 30 points while freshman mid Dagbjort Gudmunsdottir ranks second in the SAC in assists with five dimes on the year.
- Since the two programs started to face each other in 2008, Science & Arts holds an 18-2 record in the all-time series and have won the last three meetings. In last season's matchup in Chickasha, the Drovers netted a pair of second half goals to break a 0-0 tie after one half of play to grab the 2-nil victory. The Evangels will be seeking their first win over the Drovers at the Dill Soccer Field since Oct. 5, 2010 as MACU's last victory over USAO came on the road in a 2-0 result on Mar. 13, 2021.
