  • Team Notes:
    • Despite suffering a loss on Saturday, Mid-America Christian finished with at least a share for third in the SAC standings for the third-straight year, notching a 14-8 league mark to share the spot with Wayland Baptist, who MACU had the tiebreaker over for the No. 3 seed.
    • At the conclusion of the regular season campaign, MACU had two conference leaders in their respective categories in two major statistical categories as senior libero Ryley Bowden led the league in digs per set at 4.68 while freshman middle blocker Seyi Atolagbe posted the best hitting percentage in the conference at .390.
    • Over the last month, MACU put together a remarkable run. After sitting in a tie for seventh in the SAC standings with Science & Arts after their 13th SAC match, the Evangels started an eight-match win streak after defeating Science & Arts to skyrocket all the way up to third before seeing the streak end at Oklahoma City on Saturday.
    • After being one of the best attacking teams in the SAC this season as one of three teams with an over .200 hitting percentage, MACU will be looking to get back its strong attacking efficiency after recording only 41 kills on a 140 swings for a .164 rate at OCU on Saturday.
