D'Andre Gaines tapped in on the action, coming through with a 2-RBI single, setting up first-and-second for Jacob Police. Police then smashed a hanging breaking ball over the left field wall for a three-run homer, extending the lead to 8-0.
  • MACU put the first two on base in the fourth after Sakuma walked and Mendoza chopped one through the right-side, allowing Sakuma to go first-to-third. McGarry-Doyle then picked up an RBI on a groundout to short, and Brett Justice wrapped up scoring in the frame on a liner through the left-side, plating Mendoza and providing the Evangels with a 10-0 advantage.
  • Jesse Ortega executed a pinch-hit single on a chopper in between short and third, his run then scored on a three-bagger on a line drive down the right field line by Sakuma, which allowed pinch-runner Kinnaman to score all the way from first, putting MACU up 11-0 in the fifth.
  • The Evangels tacked on another in the sixth, McGarry-Doyle started it off with a walk and advanced to third on a double to center by Julian Martinez. Alex Guzman pinch-ran for McGarry-Doyle and scored on a sac fly to right by Guillermo Velasco, extending the lead to 12-0.
