MEET NOTES

• Competing in only the 1500-meter event at the KT Woodman Classic hosted by Wichita State last Friday, Mid-America Christian put together exceptional results as five of MACU's runners set personal best marks in the race.
• Mohamed Zairi highlighted the Evangels runners by notching the program record time of 4:02.90 to place 34^th out of a 94-runner field that consisted primarily of NCAA D-II and D-II talent. The time currently ranks as the 21^st fastest time in the NCCAA and an automatic qualifying mark for the NCCAA National Championships.
• Jaden Rodriguez also posted an NCCAA national qualifying time of 4:04.47 to finish in 41^st place and seize the 29^th best mark in the NCCAA. Rodriguez has dramatically improved his 1500-meter time over the course of the year after running a 4:24.20 at the OBU Invitational back on Mar. 28 before tallying a 4:08.43 in the OU John Jacobs Invitational on Apr. 4.
• Collin Seely, Connor Gerth and Cameron Pearson also ran personal-best times at the KT Woodman as Seely turned in a time of 4:12.59 and Gerth finished in 4:12.99 to set the fourth and fifth-fastest 1500-meter times in MACU's outdoor record book. The mark of 4:14.36 set by Pearson improved his previous best by more than 10 seconds after notching a 4:25.12 at the John Jacobs Invite.
