  • Set Two
    • It looked as though MACU might pull away right out of the gate by scoring the first five with Madison Lee ending it on an ace, but Langston hung around before utilizing a four-unanswered run to close it to one at 14-13 on Moore's termination.
    • LU managed to keep it close through the second half before Nalin nailed a kill and Sydney Martin tallied an ace to stretch it to 21-17, forcing a Lions timeout.
    • Langston got a side-out kill from Ianeiah Spears, but MACU scored the final four with Benson getting an ace and Atolagbe powering down a kill to bring it to set point before Atolagbe and Nalin teamed up to block Moore's swing to wrap-up the 25-18 win.
  • Set Three
    • Following the first five rallies, the Evangels streaked away by taking advantage of six Langston hitting errors while Nalin notched three kills and Benson bashed a pair of aces during a 13-3 run to seize a commanding 16-5 lead.
    • The Lions managed to get a pair of points back on the MACU advantage over the next eight rallies, but the Evangels swung back with five-straight, featuring kills from Benson, Siegfried, and Nalin to go along with another Martin service ace to make it match point at 24-10.
    • LU survived a few match points before Siegfried finished it out by powering the match-point kill off of a Lions defender to secure the 25-12 victory.
