AS A FRESHMAN
Saw action in 26 games and made 23 starts ... went 17-for-74 (.230) from the plate with three doubles, eight RBIs and 12 runs ... went 4-for-5 on stolen base attempts ... recorded a very strong .974 fielding percentage at second base, committing just two errors in 76 chances ... notched first career three-hit game after going 3-for-6 with two RBIs and a run off two doubles in a 19-10 win over Houston-Victoria on Feb. 8 ... recorded another three-hit game after going 3-for-4 with a run and a double in a 13-2 victory over Bacone (Okla.) on Mar. 6.
