Tichic Fikipo is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the varsity men's basketball team and the JV head coach for the 2025-26 campaign.
In his first season as an assistant coach at MACU, the Evangels put together an outstanding campaign, finishing the year with a 22-9 overall record and finished in a tie for second in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings with a 17-7 league mark.
As a result, the Evangels earned a bid to the NAIA Tournament for the eighth time in the last 11 years and posted their eighth 20-plus win season in the NAIA Era (2007-present).
Fikipo also served his first season at the helm of the JV team, where the Evangels put together a strong finish to the year by winning three of their last four games.
The former collegiate forward made his return after a two-year stint playing for MACU between 2022-24, where he saw action in 25 games for the Evangels after a two-year stint at Oklahoma Wesleyan, where he competed in 30 games for the Eagles between the 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns after redshirting his freshman year in 2019-20.
