The Lady Evangels lost to the Lady Bulldogs 68-56.
"We gave up way too many offensive rebounds tonight," Head Coach Josh Lind said. "We let them have too many easy shots, especially in the post."
MACU gave up 27 offensive rebounds to McPherson in the loss and was out rebounded 56-36.
"We did very few things right tonight," Coach Lind said.
The first half was back and forth early, but the Lady Bulldogs managed a comfortable lead going into the intermission. McPherson led MACU 38-28 at halftime.
The Lady Evangels went on a 5-0 run to start the second half and cut the lead to 38-33, but the Lady Bulldogs responded and quickly extended the lead back to double figures.
MACU made several runs to pull close to the Lady Bulldogs, but McPherson answered each time and eventually would put the game away for good.

The Lady Evangels fell to 2-2 on the season.
