5.21.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed Moore's Rachel Bushong to play women's basketball for the 2008-2009 season.

Bushong, an 18-year-old senior at Moore High School, was named to the Big All-City team for the Moore Lady Lions. Bushong will play guard for the MACU Lady Evangels.

Bushong was All-District and All-Conference for the Lady Lions. She also participated in the Jim Thorpe All-Star game.

"I am very excited to have signed Rachel," MACU Women's Basketball Coach Markus Crandall said. "Rachel is a very talented player with quickness. She will bring heighth and depth to the guard position."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
