9.17.08 - The Mid-America Christian University men's basketball team responded to a call for community service at a local business. Vondel Smith and Sons Mortuary needed help unloading and setting up approximately 200 chairs at their new location, one mile from the MACU campus.

The team rolled up their sleeves and spent part of their Tuesday afternoon assisting in this endeavor.

The team will hold a free basketball clinic for youth in the Community from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th. The clinic will host elementary aged children, first through sixth grade, teaching them the fundamentals of basketball. If you know of a young person who would benefit from the clinic, please contact the MACU athletic office for more information 405.691.3252.
