Oklahoma City, Okla. -- Mid-America Christian University held its third annual MACU Basketball Kid's Club Clinic this past Saturday afternoon (Oct. 23) at the Gaulke Activity Center.
Admission was free and the clinic gave kids ages 6-12 an opportunity to learn fundamentals from MACU coaches and current players in a fun setting.
Assistant coach Charlie Goar, who orchestrated the event, felt it was enjoyable for everyone involved.
"This was the 3rd annual clinic and we feel that it was a success and that the kids there had a GREAT time," Goar said. "
"Our players also did an awesome job working with the kids."
But the fun doesn't stop there for members of the MACU Kid's Club, as the first game designed for club members is set for the season-opener next Friday night (Nov. 5) at 7:30 p.m. against Sterling College.
At that game, kid's club members will be able to mingle with MACU players and coaches at a post-game pizza party and also receive full-color team photos.
