Evangels fall 100-63 in exhibition at Midwestern State

Wichita Falls, Texas -- The defending NCAA D-II Central Regional champion Midwestern State University Mustangs looked every bit the part in defeating the Mid-America Christian University Evangels in an exhibition for the MACU Friday night (Nov. 11) in Wichita Falls, Texas.

The Mustangs then opened the second half on a 14-4 run to take a 37-point lead and maintained at least a 33 point advantage from that point.

Shorter scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Evangels (2-0), while Haynes had 12 and a team-best seven rebounds.  Brandon Williams added 11 points.
