Oklahoma City, Okla. -- Mid-America Christian junior outfielder Jeff Eubank has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week, the league announced today. 

Eubank powered the Evangels to four wins this past by hitting .542 with three home runs and 11 RBI.

The Fort Pierce, Fla. native also clubbed four doubles and scored nine runs. In a series victory against SAC rival St. Gregory's, Eubank batted a robust .692 with a homer, three doubles, four runs scored and four RBI.

For the season, Eubank leads the Evangels in batting average (.388), home runs (5), doubles (8), RBI (19), slugging percentage (.675) and on-base percentage (.467).

Eubank and the Evangels will next play at current No. 5-ranked Lubbock Christian for a three-game series beginning Friday afternoon (Mar. 25) with a doubleheader at 3 p.m.
