Kansas City, Mo. -- Junior guard Brandon Williams has become the Mid-America Christian Evangels' first-ever NAIA All-American selection, as Williams has earned Honorable-Mention honors, the organization announced today.

The award adds to Williams' already impressive array of accolades, as he is a two-time All-SAC second-team performer and also earned NCCAA All-Central Region honors earlier this month.

Williams was a leader on the court this season, averaging team-highs in points (13.4 ppg) and steals (58) while also ranking second in threes (53) and third in assists (72).  He also pulled down 3.5 rebounds a game.

He also played an integral role in the Evangels advancing to the NCCAA Central Regional Championship game, scoring 20 points and dishing out a team-high five assists in a 99-82 semifinal victory over York College.
