Oklahoma City, Okla. -- Junior Nicole Wittman has been named to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-Central Region squad, the organization announced today. 

Wittman had a solid season for the Lady Evangels, recording team-highs in points (13.3 ppg), rebounds (5.5 rpg) and blocks (28). 

Her contributions enabled the Lady Evangels under first-year head coach Roman Owen to notch their most conference victories (8) since joining the NAIA and Sooner Athletic Conference in 2007. 

Wittman and the No. 2 seed Lady Evangels will host the NCCAA Central Regional Tournament this week (Mar.  9-12) at the Gaulke Activity Center. 

The Lady Evangels' first game in the tourney will be Friday evening (Mar. 11) against No. 3 seed Central Baptist at 6 p.m.
