Oklahoma City, Okla. -- In what has been a solid recruiting season, the Mid-America Christian Evangels have added point guard Reggie Davis for the upcoming 2011-12 season.
Davis is a native of Richmond, Texas and two seasons for Ft. Bend Travis High School in Richmond.
He started two seasons and helped Travis HS climb as high as No. 1 in Texas 5A and also achieve a national 5A ranking.
"Reggie is a big strong guard who brings much needed toughness and physical play to our already talented back court," MACU assistant coach
Charles Goar said.
"He is a great young man and will be an asset to our basketball program."
Davis is joining a squad that won at defending NAIA National Champion Oklahoma Baptist in the Sooner Athletic Conference last season and advanced to NCCAA Central Regional title game, before losing to eventual NCCAA National Champion Dallas Baptist.
