OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Mid-America Christian University Men's Basketball Red/White Scrimmage will take place next Monday night (Oct. 7) at 7 p.m. inside the Gaulke Activity Center.

The cost is absolutely free and promises to be a night of fun and entertainment for the whole family.

The scrimmage will give fans an early look at the 2013-14 Evangels, who feature the returning Sooner Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year in Angelo Lewis, along with five other veterans and a solid group of newcomers.

The Evangels are coming off an NCCAA Central Regional Championship and a fifth-place finish at the NCCAA National Tournament last season.  MACU also achieved its first-ever NAIA national ranking, climbing as high as No. 23 in the weekly coaches poll.

MACU is under the guidance of Willie Holley, who is entering his 41st season at the helm.  He has amassed 769 career victories, good for second all-time in the NAIA.
