Greenville, S.C. -- Thanks to a school-best eight-game winning streak, the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels have cracked the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Top 10 rankings this week for the first time since December of last season.

The Lady Evangels check in the seventh spot this week, their highest ranking in the poll since at least the 2010-11 season.

Guided by first-year head coach Marcus Moeller, the Lady Evangels' current eight-game streak is their longest since becoming an NAIA school in 2007.

The Lady Evangels are 8-1 overall on the season and are off to a 2-0 start in the highly competitive Sooner Athletic Conference.

On Tuesday (Dec. 10), the Lady Evangels received votes in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll for the first time in school history.

The Lady Evangels will next be in action on Tuesday night (Dec. 17) at NCAA II East Central University.  Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Ada, Okla.
