Kansas City, Mo. -- Mid-America Christian University senior forward Kourtni Williams has been selected as an NAIA Honorable-Mention All-American selection, the organization announced today (Mar. 20).  She is the first player in school history to earn the women's basketball national honor.

Williams, a second team all-Sooner Athletic Conference selection, scored a conference-leading 17.2 points per game this season and ranked third in the league with 8.2 rebounds.

She scored in double-figures every game through the regular season and the Lady Evangels' first SAC tourney contest, when she scored 21 points and had eight boards to lead MACU to its first SAC Postseason Tournament victory since the 2008-09 season, a 69-64 victory over USAO.

The 5'11 native of Fayetteville, Ark. also recorded nine double-doubles on the season, good for third in the SAC.
