KANSAS CITY -- The Mid-America Christian University Evangels slipped three spots to No. 17 in the latest NAIA Top 25 rankings, released today (Feb. 18). MACU has now appeared in the rankings for the past seven weeks, a school record.

The Evangels fell this past week 115-87 at Northwood University, but bounced back to give No. 4-ranked Southwestern Assemblies of God University all it could handle before falling 95-94 last Saturday (Feb. 15).

MACU is 14-8 overall and still sits in second place in the Sooner Athletic Conference with a 10-6 league mark, one-half game in front of St. Gregory's University and Oklahoma City University.

The Evangels will try to get back on the winning track by hosting John Brown University this Thursday night (Feb. 20) at 8 p.m. inside the Gaulke Activity Center.
