The two squads then exchanged the lead four times over the next 1:30 before a three by Maranda Janz gave SCU a 49-47 lead.

After Cheyenne Been tied the score with two free throws, Vanessa Bledsoe answered with two freebies that would the Lady Eagles in front for good with 12:38 left.

The Lady Eagles from there continued to slowly gain separation as another three by Janz pushed the lead to seven with 8:44 left.

Following a score from Ferguson that cut the deficit to five, the Lady Eagles pulled away even more by outscoring the Lady Evangels 9-3 over the next four minutes to stretch the lead into double-figures with just 4:06 left.

SCU then closed out the win by allowing just four points the rest of the way.

Ferguson led all scorers with 29 points along with six rebounds.  April Williams also had six boards and Alliyah Spatafora dished out four assists.
